Sales Associates typically work 2pm β 10pm, or 10pm β 6am. Customer service is the primary job duty, but maintaining store appearance (cleaning and stocking) is equally important.
Associates must learn and comply with laws concerning tobacco, alcohol, and EBT food/cash benefits, and be able to follow procedures on credit cards, money orders, lottery, and cash register operation.

ALCOHOL/TOBACCO SECRET SHOPPER
Employment type: Part-time to full-time
The purpose of this position is to check on our associates to see if they are following company policy on carding customers who are purchasing alcohol or tobacco.
This is a part time to full time job and very flexible, but the applicant must have self-discipline to finish all assignments on a weekly basis. Attention to detail and ability to accurately fill out paperwork is important. Nights and evenings required; extensive travel throughout the Portland Metro area (with some travel to Salem about once a month). βHome baseβ for turning in paperwork 2X a week is in NE Portland. Must have reliable vehicle, license, and insurance. Mileage is reimbursed at $0.55 per mile.

Principle duties and responsibilities: Sales and customer service, personnel/staffing, complete store accounting records accurately, daily cash management, maintain product
levels, monitor vendor deliveries, implementation of Marketing programs, merchandise store with attractive displays, develop assistant manager, enforce company policies.
Base salary + monthly bonus potential (up to $500).

Principle duties and responsibilities: Profit/loss responsibility for 7-9 stores with 40-60 store associates; sales and customer service; personnel/staffing and store manager/team development; implementation of Marketing programs.
Base salary + bonus ($500+ monthly potential, and up to 10% annual bonus potential)

Applicant FAQ
For a cashier position in Oregon the minimum age is 18 (21 in Washington). For stocker or gas attendant positions the minimum age is 16.
You can send your resume and/or application to our main office, but itβs quicker to go in person to a store and give it to the manager.
The main office does not track which stores currently have openings. Applications received at the office are forwarded to field supervisors.
Applicants are not necessarily hired for the store where the application was turned in. Stores within an area share the applicant pool based on their staffing needs. If you have a preference you may note it on your application.
